I use figuration, symbolism and irony to explore the human condition, specifically the female archetype. My intention is to illuminate and redefine the roles of women in todays' society with a sense of humor, fantasy and sarcasm. Driven by memories, nostalgia and personal relationships, I strive to gain a deeper understanding of personal events and make connections with universal experiences.
I also enjoy painting images from nature: plant and animal life.
